Positive: Great location at the heart of the town and adjacent to multiple stores, facilities within the lodge were perfect. Nice view of the river.

Negative: Beds were not particularly comfortable and a bit cramped due to the slope of the roof.

Negative: Too small for 4 of us. The ‘room’ upstairs is so tiny that we have to be careful when sleeping up there as we may get our heads hit. Ceiling is too short!

Positive: The location was exceptional!

Negative: It wasn’t clear to us that the surrounding areas/restaurants/pubs would be closed! We were able to make do with the supermarket & the kitchen though, so still an excellent experience

Positive: Location was great, the room was comfortable and had some character. Breakfast, despite not being in the location, was great. There was also a bakery/restaurant below the rooms, and they were the best cinnamon rolls we had while in Norway.

Negative: Figuring out where to check-in was not easy - the staff was polite, but not warm. Because the rooms were above the restaurant/bakery, the food smell was very strong.
